The 21st Annual Houston Art Car Parade was held on May 10, 2008 The Houston Art Car Parade is a yearly event in Houston, Texas, featuring a display of all types of rolling art. The first and largest Art Car Parade in the world, at any given parade you will see cars, bicycles, motorcycles, roller-skaters, and many other types of motorized and human-powered vehicles all decorated in various themes. There are also classic cars, lowriders, and various other highly modified roadworthy vehicles. Art Car Parade began in 1988 with 40 decorated vehicles and a handful of onlookers is now the Worlds Largest and Oldest Art Car Parade. The event features over 250 Art Cars, 200000 plus live spectators and media from all over the world.

I don’t consider this derby stock, but the officials named it thus name. The doors and bumpers were welded, motor swaps allowed, bumper swaps allowed, basicly it was modified welded heat. Our guy brought a pure bone stock car for this “Stock” derby.

100% Stock Car. NO welds except axle gears. Fuel Injection with nothing removed from engine compartment. Heres a look back in the past. I found the tape of my very first demo derby. I will admit that I knew nothing about how to build a car or how to drive back then. I was lucky enough to survive as long as I did. This video was filmed by someone who had never taped a derby before, so sorry about how bad it is.

Coldwater Ohio Parade. The day after the fair our neighboring town had their annual parade. All of our sponsors are from that town so we brought the car to the parade to show it to the locals. Parade was in Coldwater, Ohio. Had fun reving up the motor for the crowd.

Compilation video of footage taken by myself at various locations around the Goodwood Forest Rally Stage during the 2009 Festival Of Speed. As ever the soundtrack has been left untouched as no music can better the soundtrack provided by some of these classic cars. I dont think the video came out quite as well as last years; partially due to the quality of my videoing and partially due to the fact there seemed to be less of a selection of cars on the stage. Still, I hope the video is at least viewable. Footage includes (in no particular order); Audi Sport quattro, Citroen C4 WRC, Fiat 131 Abarth, an assortment of Ford Escorts (of course!), Ford Focus WRC, Hyundai Accent WRC, Lancia Fulvia HF, Lancia Stratos, MG Metro 6R4, Nissan 240RS, Nissan Sunny GTI, Peugeot 207 S2000, Porsche 911 SCRS, Subaru Impreza WRC (1995), Subaru Impreza Group N (2009) and Triumph 2.5PI. Top marks to Sebastian Loeb for being the fastest car round the stage all weekend. I suspect that Jesse James may have been faster in his Trophy Truck; but no one could see through the dust and debris after he passed through! Turn up the volume, sit back and enjoy!
